ＯＡＴＨＫＥＥＰＥＲ．
Before The Genesis of The Galactic War, Petal resided alongside Alnairix [ the Celestial of Wisdom ] her friend and mentor upon a crystallized hill where the first Fall had occurred many millennia ago. The result of the Fall - of what can only be assumed to be an Astronomic, due to the scale of the crater - mutating and warping the forest landscape into an esoterically beautiful, crystal ridden and cosmically enchanted forest. The vegetation, flora and fauna had transformed into beautiful crystal flowers and leaves, the mutated nature transforming into a bastion of raw magical power. A small Lighthouse was erected upon this mutated land, the two occupants of it researching ways to aid in decreasing Falls and higher control and monitoring of Celestial Magic. The mutated land came to be known as Elendor ♪ where it quickly became known for its’ alien beauty and nature as a mystical and unknown area.
Through gathering the crystals and mutated vegetation alongside Alnairix, the two sorceresses discovered that these crystals conducted and absorbed magic and Stardust, allowing for it to be stored within them. This allowed them to eventually pioneer the Celestial Gems, which Petal first experimented with by augmenting them within her own form. This act granted Petal the moniker The Crystal Queen for her many rhombus jewels encrusted within her arms, legs, and forehead. Almost immediately, the pressure upon Petal’s Core lessened, her mana and stardust distributing throughout her body more evenly and steadily. Petal and Alnairix were forever hailed as heroes for their revolutions against Falls and Turns, preventing scores of Celestials from becoming The Ravaged. Unfortunately, these Gems were not able to be fully augmented within every Celestial before The Genesis, causing over half of the Celestials without their Gems to Fall and Turn. Petal had no choice but to defend the Palace, leaving her tragically unaware of the fate of her dear friend and mentor. She stood beside and aided those who fought the overwhelming darkness and witnessed the birth of the Princess, beholding The Cleansing which eradicated The Contagion. In awe of the newborn ruler, Petal was the first Celestial to grant Princess Eirana her title of Lightbringer and swore to serve the rightful heir to the Milky Way Celestials. Post-Genesis, Petal saw an uprising against the unsuspecting Princess and recalled the night her mother had pleaded Petal to protect her daughter - and Petal seeks to fulfil her promise. Alongside the title of The Crystal Queen, she now proudly holds and maintains the prestigious title of Oathkeeper, personally much preferring it over her overly ostentatious ‘royal’ one.
