October 9 was the one year anniversary since I lost my beloved guinea pig Atomic Fireball. I had a closer bond with him than I ever did with any other animal before. Fortunatley I seem to have the same thing going with my current one, Vixen.

I loved that boy like a son and think whatever the heck you want, but yes I called him my son and was serious about it. THAT is how deep our bond was. It's like we were one or something. The day he died.....I had come from with my dad and sisters from church and lunch and AF was dying, but he waited to die until he could in my arms.
