how Stan took care of them both while Ford is gone (i still thinking over this like Ford should be dead in this crossover, but the feels i don’t want em aaaaaaaa. i want to think like hes gone somewhere) plus the shack location, who Ford original chose to stay away from people and crowd, which make me think that Ford is one of the wolf people and he’s doing research of it, but Stan is a normal person.

Dipper and Mabel got their wolf person gen from Shermy Pines their grandfather, they still figuring out what is it of becoming a wolf person. Dipper and Mabel parents say that their great uncle Stanford Pines knew a lot of it so they send the twins out to Gravity Falls when it was summer so they could have a vacation while learn more about their great uncle research. But when they arrived it was Stanley Pines who greet them (which he disguised as Ford since Ford is gone, y’know the story XD). Also the twins didn’t knew their lost grunkle is also a wolf person so they keep asking why Stanley (which in disguise) knew a lot of it while himself is a normal person.
Then dipper found a journal in the woods that contain his lost grunkle research about anomalies and wolf people and the adventure begin.

also thinking of the idea of Stanley is also a wolf person but he decided that he will pick his human side and forget that hes ever being a wolf, but idk him being a normal human somehow make sense to the story.

wow i’m thinking a lot for this crossover, literally mixing wolf children storyline with gravity falls.
