Perhaps considered, (behind his back, Of course,) the Calendar Island's pet Corrupt Politician, DK Romanoren is often seen as a necessary evil of Isla February's rule. The un-contested mayor, thirty years running, has little to fear in terms of usurpers to claim his coveted title. Anyone who has tried to run against him usually drops out for personal reasons, or suddenly vanishes for a brief period before and after the crucial points in the election, returning with no real explanation for their absence nor any memory the authorities can discern.

Eventually The Mayorship of February went un-contested as no-one was willing to attempt to unseat DK from his perch. There's also frustratingly little proof to link DK to any wrongdoings and many will begrudgingly admit the man is good at his job.

Dk's major issue is that he's very pro-white-fur. To the point that he has all but segregated the pristine snow-covered bluffs of February. This philosophy has trickled down into the rearing of his children, (though he'll only admit to one of them being his these days.) IT's no wonder where Aileeron gets his temper when you look no farther than his father.
