ok this is by far the biggest project ive come up with and no this is not a 3d model its all been done using photo shop and it is a pain is the u know what but as i said phase one is complete so now all i have to do is draw the girl he is talking to ^^

DUDE! This is REALLY impressive! I love how you integrated the shading/lighting from the scene to the character. Most of it looks pretty natural.
One thing that caught my eye, though--It looks as if the side of the brick wall that faces the viewer is in the shadow of something larger (perhaps a large building behind the camera?). It seems to me that the lighting on his lower left arm and paw should reflect the large shadow that is projected on the brick wall.
Other than that, I'm intrigued to see where you go with this.
