A badge commission done at Anthrocon 2009 for one of the principal movers and shakers behind Angry Viking Press (no, not Canty--the other one), it depicts one of a group of dormant character designs for a furry superhero comic still in an informal "deciding whether to run with it" stage. This character, Forty Love, is one of the story's villains, a detail I wasn't aware of when this drawing was done. All the characters have a sport-specific design, costume, and presumably powers. As you can tell, Forty Love here counts tennis as her specialty. And that racket probably isn't being used to swat at little yellow balls either.

One of the commissions I did at AC09, this involves a badge made with an as-yet unnamed character belonging to one of the principal movers/shakers of Angry Viking Press.
The character is one of a group of femmes involved in some traditional sports (basketball, tennis, soccer etc) with a seriously futuristic/dystopian/post-apocalyptic bent to them, as the spiked tennis racket here should imply.
I may try to do pics of the others in the future (they really are an intimidating-looking bunch), but many aspects of these characters are undefined (names, colors etc), so doing more than B/W pinups is dependent on the group being resurrected (most likely as an AVP property)
