I love graffiti...er.. GOOD graffiti. Not the kind where someone spent all of fifteen seconds plastering their sorry @__ name across a medium! This pic is about social concepts of peace. True peace comes from YWEH, not self. The hippie movement mainstreamed many ideas but most notably the concept that peace was the absence of Christianity and conformity(of which they were force-fed through much of their lives). Their representation of their ideals was a broken upside-down cross: essentially meaning we oppose St. Peter's idea of humble spirit to God even through death.
I stand on the brink of a new era, one that will be of a divided peoples, one that hopes in the darkness, one that hides during prayer, one that will bring more glory to God during the Apocalypse. That is the reason for the change in symbol.
