It's finished, my first sculpture in years!

I thought an esk would be a suitable subject for experimentation, and what esk could be better than the one who started it all? This character belongs to witherlings, and in a way, the statue is a tribute to them. The esk species has very positively impacted my life for the last year, ever since I bought my first esk from the first batch. I love this species, and the community, particuliarly for inspiring me (and so many others) to create more art.

The statue was made from polymer clay, wire, tape, aluminum foil, and painted with acrylic paints. It was a steep learning curve, but I'm glad I did it and I'm excited to make more sculptures!
