Another servitom~! I'm still working on their species sheet, and their female base, but these lads are perfect for Halloween, so I couldn't resist making at least one this month! This handsome boy will protect its master from any pesky spirits that come through the veil this time of year.

About Servitoms
Servitoms are a unique kind of spirit that can be summoned by performing a ritual that is specific to each different servitom. Using the magic in their numerous pronged tails, they're able to manipulate the world around them, and are identified by the glowing symbol that hovers between their antlers. This symbol, for all intensive purposes, represents them and their state of mind. The softer the glow, the more at peace the Servitom is, while a brighter glow represents strong, powerful emotion.

Once summoned and if it is pleased by an offering, the servitom enters into a magically binding contract with its summoner, which earns them their earring talismans to mark them as claimed, performing its summoner's whim to the best of its abilities. Each servitom is unique, however, and carries abilities that revolve around its talisman and purpose. A Fortune servitom, for example, might bring you good luck, while a Cheer servitom might bring you happiness.

Servitoms can be tricky, however, and might bend your request to suit their needs, much like a genie might, and not all Servitoms are positive ones. There has been legend of a servitom of Revenge, and one of Death, though these kinds Servitoms are rarely summoned. It is customary to build a small spirit shrine for your servitom once you have summoned it, though in modern days many summoners invite the servitom into their homes to be a part of their daily lives. It's true that for many summoners, Servitoms aren't just merely tools of their craft or servants, but friends, familiars, and sometimes even lovers.

About Soulward
◈ Summoning Materials: Palo Santo, a talisman made of black onyx, myrrh incense, an intricate circular sigil of sea salt, and a steel knife.
◈ Abilities: Soulward exists as a guardian for evil spirits. Its presence can deter spirits from its master, and so when summoned, Soulward is never far from the one that called it. Loyal, but mysterious, this servitom is something of a specter itself, as it can pass through walls, teleport, and meld into the shadow of its master at will. The bell on its tail, though usually silent, can be rung to scare off approaching or nearby evil spirits. By embracing its master, Soulward can also turn its master invisible to nearby spirits, shielding them from sight and keeping them safe.
