Out here in the desert, I've been listening to a LOT of talk radio through the nigh. One of my favourite programmes is "Coast to coast AM." which features stories about the supernatural, cryptozoology, and U.F.Os. Sometimes the features of the show let my imagination run wild.

I managed to call into that show several times. I got to speak with some very interesting people. I remember talking with a guy who was a storm chaser and believed he saw a UFO near a tornado. I spoke with someone on cryonics. I spoke with Dr. Barry Taft regarding The Entity incident in California.
And, I consider it an honor that I was able to speak with the late Father Malachi Martin, whom I asked about lycanthropy, and he agreed that it could be considered a gift!
He got rather excited to talk to me about it, but you know how talk radio goes. 'Next caller please...'
<3 the show, but I preferred Art Bell over George Noory. I think George strayed from the paranormal topics too much, got too much into environmental topics and politics. Ian Punnett upset me greatly when he actually decided to do a show on furries, turned me down on offering a clear and well explained take on the fandom, and went with interviewing a zoophile instead because it was apparently more sensational and interesting for radio...

I've had some mixed nuts, grains, & dried fruit type cerials that weren't bad -- but I can't honestly say which they were. Others do taste like soggy cardboard. I'm not a terrific fan of grains to start with -- it took time to acquire a taste for bread even, and I still don't like beer.
Back when George first took over, and the station we listened to it on was still on the FM dial, I do admit I had to stop listening for a little while, since almost every other night turned to talk about global warming. I was beginning to miss talk about Bigfoot and UFO's and chemtrails and the like.
I've a former friend who actually wrote a story somewhat like that, only it centered more around humans and their gene-tinkering to take on anthro shapes that the aliens had sneakily set things up so that in the mix there was a genetic flaw requiring servitude to the aliens so humanity basically walked right into being their slaves.
