I love the story, even if last year we studied it so much it almost got out of head orifices. For those who don’t know Hyde is smaller in the book and not taller as we like to imagine because he is supposed to be Jekyll’s evil side and as Jekyll is not evil himself the evil side of his is small.
Also I hesitated for the disposition of this image : the reflection cliché ? The divided pic ? Hyde springing out of Jekyll ? The 2 sharing the same body their heads sewn on it (which could be super cool actually) ? I went with the 2 standing next to each other while the position goes into smoke. It came out better than I predicted with the sketch.

TOTAL props on actually making them size accurate! Hollywood definitely perpetuated the idea that Hyde was something of a hulk when really he wasn't! I mean, he was fucked up but not gigantic lol.

I see you know the book ! Well I will be honest, when I first read the book at 13 I was WOOOOW disappointed he wasn't gigantic because I imagined him like that XD still in the book he is described to be slender but I can't help and make him bulk anyway because he would look too much like Jekyll and it would not be logical he had no muscles if he could run, break and kill stuff so easily just by rising a hand.

You don't know how much that's a compliment : my favorit part in drawing cartoons is drawing the facial expressions and I would love to be an expert at that XD Oh you find him cute ? I have alwaus purposely drawn him as "generic cute middle aged man" for contrasting with his secret side lol

Yeah its been a long time but I did read the book. I do like him with a little more bulk though. Definitely distinguishes him more x)
You're welcome! Expressions are such an important part of a picture so I do love when they have a lot of emotion in them :3 and yes I do find him cute! I have a thing for middle aged nerdy boys XD
