Darius doesn't, and probably never will, completely adhere to Fox's strict non-lethal policy. He does give it a valiant effort for queen and country though.

Hidden in his shock-baton cane is a customized carbon steel sword, that's very rarely seen the light of day.

While certainly by a deep stretch not the best swordsman, Darius still keeps his skills (and his blade) decisively sharp for days he has no other choice. Fortunately for his opponents, and Fox's reputation, is own bloody nature is rarely seen unless absolutely necessary.

He still longs for the day he will be able to carry a real sword, instead of hiding one. Then again Steele does like to be full of surprises so time will tell.
