HEAD

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Fit: It luckily fits me well, they never asked for head measurements. I did tighten the elastic in the back as it wasn't doing much before.

Ventilation: It's pretty good! I can keep it on for 5+ hours. There's good airflow when you open the mouth and it comes through the eyes well. However since it's all resin the condensation can sometimes be visible from the mouth/lips of the head

Vision: GREAT!! There's NO blindspot in the middle whatsoever, which is a rare gem for most suits! however the mask sits pretty low on my face so some of where my actual eye sits is covered by the top of the suit eyes so I have to slightly keep my head lifted to comfortably see in front of me

The only real downside to this is that the head is a REAL hassle to put on.. It closes in the back with 18 TINY button snaps, they're less than a centimeter big. and I'm primarily a solo suiter so I have to get it on me and snap them all myself. Luckily I can manage to to this but once it's on I won't want to take it off. Accompanied with elastic straps that go under my arms (I requested this to keep the neck fur down), I'll just keep the suit on for 5+ hours just cause I don't want to struggle to get it on again. So I usually just end up suiting without breaks. Thankfully the head is cool enough that I CAN suit for that long.

Appearance Satisfaction

The symmetry is great! The markings are accurate
I do wish I would've chosen pink fur for the cheeks instead of having them airbrushed, because the bottom half of his cheeks fade out and people often mistake it for being blush.

I do wish the ears would've looked a little more big/dog like though, I've had more people call me a cat than I'd like ha

The hair is nice but one side (the white side) was way longer than I expected. It was already attached when I noticed it so I didn't bother pointing it out. I ended up tucking it up and under the rest of the hair to hide it a bit, and I suppose that works

The fur is really soft! It does look a little weird on the back of the head (the area where the snaps are kind of sticks out/is lumpy)

I love the expression! The eyes with a heavy eyeliner look and nice brows are just what I wanted

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
The snaps I mentioned before will haunt me forever. They take forever to snap together, they're tiny and make the fur in the back look a little lumpy

I also requested elastic straps to keep the neck fur on. They work well but it takes a bit of coordination and planning to figure out how to get them on while putting the arms on and the shirt at the same time

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
Hands: Once they're on they fit, but the wrist opening is super small and I've struggled a bit popped a seam trying to get them on. The openings are held together with elastic and I think it would've been a good idea to put more


Feet: They do the job! they look nice and don't look disproportionate
The same tiny snaps were used in the back and one of them has come unglued from where it was placed but it's not too big of a deal

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
Handpaws:
They originally were supposed to have pawpads but at the last minute we found out the fabric ended up being too different of a color to use it, and didn't have enough time to order silicone ones so I have no pawpads, r.i.p
we were supposed to have them added later but the wrists are a bit small and i'm not sure if i want to pay extra to have the small one's sent in for the pads

Feetpaws:
These were supposed to have pawpads too but we ended up going for rubber base outdoor soles instead to make them on time for the convention date

The tail is nice! It's durable but a little hefty and larger than I expected.

I did request for a smaller/medium size tail but it's a lot bigger than i expected, it looks a little disproportionate to the rest of the suit

It matches great! I only wish the cheeks were fur and not airbrushed

The freckles look really good and are nice and subtle

Overall it was a pleasant experience. The maker was kind and worked very quickly, and even livestreamed parts of it!

It clearly shows they put a lot of care into their work and care about their commissioners
