I always thought of Eek! as rather subversive, disturbing and strange . . . yet . . . While I'm wimpy enough that I would probably not let any children of mine watch South Park or Beavis and Butthead or Family Guy, it wouldn't bother me a bit if any hypothetical kids watched Eek! all the live-long day. Which makes it even more subversive in my eyes.
