I'd like to introduce a new character for my AskBlog, Victor! He's the other MQG leader (If you don't know what that is: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/24651281/ ) and Kudora has a crush on him :3
It's highly unlikely we'll be seeing any of his crew since I've got my hands more than full with the current cast as it is haha, so I don't have any plans to create any monchars belonging to his group - at least not for the foreseeable future.
I'm not really happy with how the goggles came out .... Or most of the drawing tbh... but this is only my second time drawing this monster haha so I've got a lot to work on ^^;

Woooo, haven't seen much Valphalk art around, so I'm glad to see some from you! Adorable that Kudora has a crush on him, too~
As for you not being very happy with how the drawing came out, I don't think it's that bad, really! Then again I'm not the best at critique, but I don't see anything majorly wrong with it. Drawing new things is always difficult though so I getcha, just gotta practice more in that case!

Yeah I'd think it's also surprising I drew him, given how indifferent I've felt towards the guy all this time. I think seeing him in Stories's style started to sway those thoughts a little ^^ Technically he's only (currently) in the mobile game Monstie Drop, but it's still using the same art style - and it's a spinoff of the main Stories game (Which itself is a spinoff HAH)
Ye thanks~ I mean it's not terrible but... I only have a few pics to go off of, and I'm reluctant to rely on game screenshots for the most part for a number of reasons, the exception being the Stories / Monstie Drop screenshots since they are simple enough to suit my needs but also reflect a significant amount of their natural detail at the same time. So they make fantastic reference material - when available.
Sadly, I only have one S/MD pic of Valkie to go off of, and it doesn't show most of his body (Head, only at a 3/4 angle, and his wings in that image block the view of his body and the background pose). If he'd make it into the main Stories then I could walk him around and stuff haha. I'd really like that, Agnaktor too - both of which aren't in Stories but are in the mobile spinoff wah

I get what you mean, yeah. I've always kinda thought he was a bit strange with the whole rocket dragon thing and all, but I've still liked his design and he's grown on me a bit. Still holding onto the faint hope that XX will get a western release so I can see him in a usual MonHun game, before I just import it at least. x3
Ah, yeah, fair enough on that front. Trying to take references from the official art and models and stuff is pretty overwhelming to say the least, there's just too many nuances and details to keep track of. I should try using the Stories models as references myself, haven't actually thought of that before. Now I want more monsties in the game for an even bigger reason~
Really dunno why they seem to be keeping Agnaktor and rocketderg in the mobile game, though, unless they're really just saving them for another update. I don't really see any excuses there outside of wanting the mobile game to have exclusive monsters. Can't say that Agnaktor's fins get in the way of the saddle now, so yeah.
