Not long after the events of 'A Night To Remember', Emberflame finds herself dealing with something she thought she'd left behind upon Mt. Coronet, a dangerous and unyielding craving that grows ever stronger the more she resists it. However what shall she do when she finds out the doctor of Clearspring might have just the right idea of how to fix this?



Yes, a Side Chapter, someone call the literary police on me I'm committing heresy! In all seriousness however, a few friends have pointed out that at the pace I write stuff I'm liable to burn out. This is fine; but another thing they pointed out is its actually not a half-bad idea to do side stories and such from time to time so that everybody gets a break from the main series going on. Whether its something like this where an off-screen moment is revealed in its full glory; or more silly/possibly non-canon stuff that's just meant to be fun, and all sorts of other stuff. It's just a good way for everyone to relax and recharge. I certainly enjoyed writing this one at least!
