A quick chalk pastel drawing done as a concept for a possible watercolor painting.
Originally I intended to use this for a phone-case design. But as a few of you may know, my fur-baby Namja passed this last Sunday. So I have now decided to paint a picture of him for my new phone case so that I can carry him with me in a way..

Anyhow, I am going to try my hardest to participate in drawing a chalk picture each day of october for "chalk-tober" (sounds better then inktober outloud aha)

I probably wont finish a drawing each day, but I will work on them daily and probably actually only finish three a week if that. I have been working 7 days a week and have had classes start up. Plus all my free time has been spent mural painting for a commission the past few months. I may have a bit of a break from that though due to a pipe burst at the last of my locations ;w; also unfortunately means i wont be paid for a while, but that is because i told them that their house itself is far more important then the murals they commissioned aha, i mean really, we looked under their house to see the damage today and their bathroom was a good few inches hanging lower then the rest of the house. I swear if they fill that bathtub it WILL fall through So i honestly hope they get that fixed before i continue painting aha

I am also having trouble finding my own motivation since Namja's passing. I actually drew this picture a little over a week ago and am just now getting around to posting it.
I did doodle a small concept today in class that i would like to turn into a large scale watercolor painting. It's of Namja sleeping under an orange tree. (you can find more information as to why the orange tree is a big deal for the painting.)

Anyway, i guess this is my life update on here since i dont really post to fA all that often, especially when it comes to these personal things. I guess the only really good thing thats come as of late is that because I am working so many hours Im not hurting for money..
