I've been a furry on-and-off since my childhood, I guess, but things really got going with the manga-craze we got over here in the Nineties. The ball started rolling with Akira, and a company put out a bunch of anime on VCR (!).

One of those was 'Dominion - Tank police'. That's when the pointy ears got me. The cover illustrations, of course, were in no way matched by the animation(https://georgespigot.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/dominion-tank-police.jpg), and the manga itself was difficult to obtain, but... it was more than enough. Oh dear yes.

I drew... a lot. I didn't draw it very well. I think. To call it fanfic... would actually be accurate. I got drawn in, something which happens to autists, and, well... I even included them in infant form in another comic.

A few years later their position in my heart would be usurped by 'Gold Digger', but you never forget your first.

Anyway... I made this epic comic starring the Puma Twins, where a shapeshifting android who takes on the appearance and abilities of anyone he encounters, mixing and matching until he becomes transcendently powerful takes over Newport City. He was the direct spiritual predecessor of Set.

...This must have taken some time. Have I grown lazier??
