While I was out taking the earlier photos, Schirm's fluffy, cantankerous ol' Maine Coon Cat Alex approached and started demanding attention. He refused to face the camera though, and I guess he doesn't like flashes, but I believe this is the best snap of the bunch which captures his appearance.

I found a big fluffy boy at a few years ago, and he is a real butt head, bites, and demands attention, and will react if not given.
Although, he found a nest of mice in the garage and made quick work of them, and catches flies, and some times wasps, and then eats them, yuck...

When I lived in Maine, I'd go on car trips with my grandfolks, around to various places, including a store called 'Tut's'.
It had a restaurant, and a general store in it, and as I prowled around looking at things, I found a rack of fur coats by a window.
Looking down, I saw that one of the full-length coats had fallen off the rack. Being a helpful sort, I reached for it, to put it back on the rack.
As my fingers just and just reached the tips of the fur, the 'coat' opened up big, green-yellow eyes, calmly regarding me.
I slowly pulled my hand back from what I estimated was a 40 pound Maine Coon cat.
