While there are still a few more installments to this comic yet to come,
jenociide decided to knock off a Title Page for my "Hazards of Smoking" comic collection. You can see her posting of this picture as well as the rest of her wonderful artwork on her Deviant Art page, with the original posted here on DA.
There's not much to explain about this one. The ignited lighter caused Rodent to bang his head, knocking the H loose to drop on his foot. Yeah, something bad had to be happening to the rat, even on the cover. :)
And before anyone asks, no this is not an actual book. But even in digital form, it's rather fun to have a title page for a series like this. :D
I really love how this came out, beautifully capturing the feel for the comics that would be following after. Seeing Rodent this size, as compared to the smaller size in the 4-panel comics, is an absolute delight and he just looks so adorable. :D
My thanks to Jenociide for doing as wonderful a job as always with this project. :)

Hell yeah! You better get me in on that shit. Indeed I am a poor artist (who is not starving but is hungry at the moment) but making the money isn't what's important. It's the fact that people WANT to pay money to OWN what I spent so much time on - meaning it wasn't a waste of time! Yay! And cash is an excellent perk!
Oh man, I would definitely split any profits from doing something like this with you. Given the humor of this series, I can really imagine a number of people enjoying something like this. Once this is done, I'm really considering offering it up as a printed package of some type. :)
*smiles* Only 3 scheduled pics left, though I already have one more idea; but this is only if Jenociide is up for doing more. It's been a rather massive project so far and I wouldn't want to keep her from doing other work.
Of course, cancer won't be one of the comics, unless I could figure out a really unique take on it. The ideas here are meant to be more humorous, alternate demises that smoking can cause. :)

Possibly, Rodent could blow smoke in a passerby's face, who then crotch-checks him so hard, he gets nut cancer? Is that even possible?

I wouldn't mind working on more, it's not like anybody's scrambling for my work/time, but I am going through the process of moving again. Life interrupts art so rudely.
