After a long meeting that's left Emberflame's emotions battered and scattered all around, it seems her good friend Auron has caught onto the fact that maybe she needs a break! Where oh where could such thoughts lead?



I can't be arsed to describe this part as well as I want to, anyways. Fun story time! This chapter was originally meant to be EVEN MORE PLOT DUMP, with alot of stuff getting covered and alot of rather unsettling facts introduced; BUT the original result left me feeling really unsatisfied, and the rewrite I attempted for it also fell really flat. So after nearly creatively burning out over it, I talked with my good pal  furryshapeshifter and he suggested that perhaps its time to take a step back while I was still catching up on uploads and perhaps think about what I really want to write. A lot of thought provoking discussion later; and chapter 17 got rewritten to this more leisurely part that I think everybody can be happier with.
