It's that time again! Apologies for weird cropping, you can blame Instagram's weird insistence on not letting me upload the full, non-ear-cropped image for that. I could've uploaded the non-Instagram version, but I like their filters for touching up photos of my traditional work.

This time I've decided to give designing a proper fursona another go. For some reason I've felt a special fondness for foxes for a long time, but since my main artistic persona, Usagi, is a wolf kemonomimi, I thought it'd make sense to have a wolf sona either linked to or separate from Usagi. Buuuuut, well, I don't know. I feel fox might fit me better, I guess, much as I know there are a plethora of fox 'sonas out there. But then it's not like wolf 'sonas are much rarer. Meanwhile, as far as a wolfish 'sona, well... Giving Usagi lycanthropy would explain the wolf ears and tail a lot better than just "because reasons" or "because I grew up watching Inuyasha and thought animal ears were cool."

This fox is a shapeshifter, though, so I figured that'd help with any inkling to explore characters/'sonas of other species - a bunch of options in one character. Who knows, maybe we'll see some of her other forms over the course of the month.

I'm going by an anthro prompt list for this year's Inktober to try and level up in terms of furry art and stretch my abilities a bit, adding the additional stipulation that I draw predominantly original art. Fan art is fun, but I really need to shake things up a bit!
