House Kittle is the newest Royal House of Insula Viridis, having been founded by Northnienian raiders who established a castle at what is now known as Minkeld along the coast. The Kittles expanded their land holdings quickly, with the house founder, Gunnar the Kjetla (who is claimed to have had ten sons, five daughters, and an uncountable number of bastards) claiming the right of Kingship.

Over the past two centuries, Kjetla has been morphed into Viridish first as Kitelen, and finally as Kittle.

Although they are war-like, it is said that the Kittle women are the most beautiful on Insula Viridis.

Notable members: King Gunnar the Kjetla, House Founder and First King of Austuria. Queen Minerva Kitelen, who is said to have been 99 times a widow but a wife only once.
