House Forrester

The Forresters are the ruling house of Daruia whose predominant feature is a massive forest known as the Sable Forest. Because Daruia and Miercinia have both claimed it, border skirmishes are extremely common, though neither side has gained much land since the last great war between Daruia and Miercinia.

The House and the Kingdom of Daruia were first started by Bryce the Forrester. As legend goes, Bryce built the first Brocarden Castle from wood and logs in order to stop the Miercinian Kings from invading north and the Brynach Kings from invading south.. Bryce was able to stop the combined armies that would one day call themselves Miercinia, and began carving out his own Kingdom. Over the centuries, the "of" was dropped, with the name becoming just plainly "Forrester."

Bryce and Bryenne are the most common first name amongst Forresters, only behind Pytar, Paul, and Mary.

Lord Bryce the Forrester, the founder of the House. Lord Alwin Forrester, who lead his forces against an invading Northnienian army. Lord Bryce Forrester V, who took command of the house after the death of his father, Lord Alwin, at the hands of an unknown Northnienian raider.
