i dont know what whelping is cuz im a tard... but this is a lovely picture

Whelping is the veterinary term for 'having puppies'. Horses are 'foaling' and cats are 'littering' (I believe)... but then cats do that. :D Never, ever, ever leave the drier open after finishing a load of laundry when you have cats in the house!

I remember my father's parents and their pet Wolf. Funny, they named her Wolfy. Like dogs, wolves don't have a long lifespan. They'll live to 10, but not much longer. She was great friend and companion, even if it wasn't for decades, it was a time with good memories and never forgotten.
People should realize wolves are not monsters but great family members. But, unlike dogs, wolves are independent and free-willed, and they desire to be treated with respect, acceptance, and tolerance.
Wolves are wonderful and unique, and provide a companion experience un-equalled with other beings.

True man... I believe wolves are closest to us in heart, soul, and mind... Closer than any other animal, with a few exceptions.
