There is a place for the lowly pump-gun, they are oft trashed by expensive semi-auto shotgun owners. My Remingtom 870 and your Mossburg will be running when all of the semi-autos have eaten through the spare parts stores.

They are phrohibitively expensive and parts DO break. The old pump wears like iron.

The SPAS 12 is a farce, though folks like it cuz of the movies.
The BATFE (illegally) redesignated Striker 12 and Streetsweeper rotary magazine shotguns to Destructive Device status, stating that they fire munitions above 50 caliber.
Until this happened, shotguns were held to a different status, the BATFE just violated it's own MO to restrict a weapon that have been used in (extremely) few crimes.
So, as we have learned, Liberals in power tend to violate standards and rules in order to "control" scary devices....

He even has the action locked back too. Not sure if you can engage the Mossberg's safety with it like that (it's located on the other side of the weapon just ahead of where the stock meets the receiver), but I'm willing to bet he has it on if possible.

Safety would be on as well; used to own a 590A1 myself and you can engage the safety like that.
