I've had these long floaty boys stuck in my head for a few years now, and I'm thinking about really refining them!

These creatures have human-intelligence and live in social, tribal communities. They are not territorial and enjoy living near other settlements. You can easily find them clinging to the walls of canyons, cliffsides, monumentally large trees, and in some cases, they live on the sides of glaciers. Due to their choice in habitat, this species has several defining traits! which include incredible stamina which allows them to fly for long distances, and the ability to lock the tendons in their rear legs in order to cling to their perch indefinitely. They are mostly herbivorous and prefer fruit as their main source of food- However, the arctic relatives to this species have evolved in order to eat meat, which is more readily available in their terrain than foliage. Last but not least, their front "paws" do have opposable thumbs, however, they are not as dexterous as human thumbs. This species's society is largely based around travel and many tribes operate as delivery services for the other intelligent species on their planet.
