Whats up with the punching gloves?

it's an old joke with kangaroos since the 1910's

they used to tie boxing gloves to real life kangaroos and then send in a boxer to "box" with the roo.....usually horrific animal attacks insue cause kangaroo toe claws are meant for disemboweling...so yeah... wasn't very pretty to watch :(

but since then cartoon kangaroos are often portrayed with boxing glvoes

I recently signed on to FA. Been pondering it for several weeks to show off my drawings.

Thanks for the photo. Based on the comments above, I can respond to him. The sign on the skateboard simply says "TAIL ON BOARD", as a dig on the sign "BABY ON BOARD". The boxing gloves are a stereotypical kangaroo prop, so I gladly wear them. Since AC, I adjusted the ears, and now they do not sag as much... thank heavens!
