So that they would not have to solely rely on the UN Bureau of Superheroes for Kaiju defense, the Japanese government commissioned a weapon inspired by the greatest Kaiju fighting superheroine of the twenty first century, Lionheart. The result was MLH-001, otherwise known as "Mecha Lionheart". A fifty foot tall mechanical warrior can either be piloted from within or set to an auto function in case the pilot is unavailable or incapacitated. Mecha Lionheart is to serve alongside the JSDF in case of Kaiju attack in the pacific and can be deployed to aide Japan's allies against such beasts, it can of course also be deployed against other massive monstrosities brought into battle by super villains.
