I will post the different views so you can see the larger images between, The X2, X1, and portrait mode.
Did some experiments with the dual cameras on the iPhone 8, to tell you the truth I can see much of a big difference between the 2x telephoto lens, VS the Portrait mode. Between the 1x and the 2x there was also not that huge of a difference. They gave me a nice trade in value on my old phone for the 8 vs nothing for the iPhone 7+ 128 gb of ram which is what I really wanted. The 8+ is only 64gb of ram. I was disappointed that Apple did offer 8/8+ in a 128bg. 64gb is plenty enough room for what I do even though I was at 76gb of used ram. From playing around between the 6/6+, 6s/6s+, and 7/7+, and 8/8+ which should of really been called the 7s/7s+, except for the 6/6+ there isn’t really much of a performance difference. What hurts the 6/6s is the fact that the phone only has one gb of ram vs 2 and only a 6mp camera. The 6s/6s+ along with the SE has a 2gb, and the same guts as the 6s/6s+. My iPad Pro 12.9 basically has the same CPU as the 6s/6s+ and since the software update, Apple did something right because it runs like like a new system. I do a lot of my graphic on it, and there is not graphic lag what so ever. So the 6s/6s+ and SE still have plenty of get oh, and the nice thing about iPhone is that they have long longevity on which many other brands don’t have. I don’t under stand why the 7 and 8+ has 3gb of ram Vs 3. As for the portrait node, I think it’s a gimmick. That isn’t really necessary, because it’s a function that many aren’t really going to use much. Most that I have talked to say that they never use it. As for the iPhone 10, that is way to expensive even only for the 64gb model. I would have like to see them put on a home button like google did onto the screen. The other thing is that I’m not a big fan of the facial recognition. They also really limited themselves to iPhone 10 users to the Anaemoji’s. In Conclusion, the 8 and 10 sounds impressive with the numbers when it comes to the tech specks but, and that hexcor CPU but for the day to day users I think no one is really going to notice a difference, that probably goes about the same to the 6s/6s+/SE users.
The other weird thing I’ve been noticing is that many seem to be switching back to flip phones and I wonder if it has anything that people are getting tired of big brother watching their every moves. Maybe Motorola will bring back the Razor which was one of the best flip phones out there.?
