Yeah, if I havent made it apparent, Lyke is a snow dragon or Highland Dragon. Meaning she lives in high cold climates and her breed has evolved to be able to adept to different climates. When staying in a cold climate besides changing seasons, she looses her spikey mane and that fur grows over her body. When she looses the fur, its similiar to molting. So, she cant just grow it when ever she feels like it.
