Anthrocon 2009 Hotel Room

I just wanted to show the room where SkippOtter, Dingo, CooperTom and I stayed for Anthrocon.
9th floor of the Courtyard Marriott 2 Queen beds.
Loved the vaulted ceilings and spacious room and the view.
Stayed in the Double tree last year, and got to hang in a Westin room for a little this year. I must say the Marriot beats the pants off the other two.
Close to the Convention Center, which the Double tree definitely isn't.
At the same time the Marriott isn't shoved right up the convention center's ass which is busy ALLL THE TIME, and you have to wait in a long line to get for the elevators to get your room.
The Marriott doesn't feel cramped like the Westin did. The Westin rooms are basically stuffed up cubby-holes. The rooms at the Double Tree look better but are still a bit small.
(Note: My opinion is based on being in double queen-bed rooms
The personnel/staff are friendly as hell, can't say much about the Westin since I didn't stay there. Bt last year at the Double Tree, the lady at the fitness center wouldn't let us in because we're furries. So I said fuck em, and that's one of the reasons why I didn't chose it over the others.
So there's basically my review of the main hotels available for Anthrocon.

I stayed in the Westin last year, and their staff was fairly nice, but they seemed really overwhelmed by all the furries.
Dude you saved my ass! That was the first time I ever went to furry convention. I had no frigging clue what I was doing and I just winged it and ta da you were like "hi total stranger! Come stay with me!"
It worked out awesome.
some people take getting into the fandom one step at a time but you went in blindfolded out of a flaming helicopter into a acid bath shark tank and took off from there. haha
your ass better be at AC this year, need to drink till our livers flee the contry
