Its sorta simple, sadly. Its not that you necessarily did anything wrong, but 4chan mods are lazy, incompetent, or perhaps both.
See, being a mod takes work. Learning how to mod right? Takes work. Moving posts places? Work.
Addressing concerns or posters? Work. Reports? More work. Actually working with posters to successfully resolve issues? Even more work!
You know what the easiest route is? Bans. Just send them away without a word, and if they appeal, send them away again.
It's been no secret for a long time that 4chan got filled with smug power-hungry buddy circle-jerks that don't care for the responsibility their role suggests.
