It's not like there is a group demographic to it unless it's a name given but the public at the con. As to the pass it on; I know of them but I'm unfortunately not going to speak on it; unless they come in a say something themselves

Hehe, it does the job. There's a lot of good cameras out there for much, much less, though. *^^* Save on the body and get good glass - Lenses hold their value much more than the camera bodies do.

And, thank you. *^^*~ I tried to get some photos that were "different" than the normal point 'n shoot style snapshots that seem to be the majority of con photos. *bounces!*

After the fursuit parade I got to 'talk' to these three, definately an interesting bunch, though they don't speak in suit

One of the best pictures of some of the best suits and the best acts I've ever seen, they were so cute! Good shot! I accidentally called them jackals I think and nearly got pounded XD

Hehehehe. Yeah, I wasn't exactly sure if they were dingos or coyotes, myself. I was a little biased towards coyote, and held out hope for that. *^^*~ But, the consensus is dingo, so I'm rollin' with that.

*nodnods* They're all -slightly- different. Their shirts are all different as well. Same color, same type of material, but different patterns. That's a lil' harder to see on the image, though.

Another detail is that their eyes are slightly different. One goes Blue-Green, one Green-Blue, and then I'm not too sure about the third.

Oh cool! I'll have to re-check my photos, I didn't notice that at first. Absolutely adorable suits...just yeah, wow.

Actually one is all green eyed, one blue eyed and the other with both green and blue, and when they stand together it always goes blue-blue blue-green green-green. :P Great picture too btw! What kind of camera & lens did you use?

Hahaha. Its like a real-life example of Mendel's Squares. Very cool! That I didn't know. Its definitely a great touch, though! *^^*~

Glad ya liked the shot: This one was shot using a Canon EOS 1Ds mk II and a 135 f/2L prime lens. Some of the others were shot using a 17-35 f/2.8L wide-angle as well.

Ah! Do you recommend them? I need a new camera and am looking around, getting opinions. If not then which would you like to get/lens to use with a medium budget? Thanks!

Personally, I like Canon's EOS series of cameras. However, the 1 series cameras are just about out of a medium budget for most people. But, there's a lot of other options that product great results.

Relatively speaking, how much are you looking to spend for a camera/lens(es?) combo? And, what types of photography do you generally like to shoot? IE: Portraits, landscapes, macro, action, low-light, etc?

Unlike point & shoots, dSLRs and the gear that goes with it can get rather pricey. And, you tend to specialize a little more with your gear. IE: there's no lens that can do super-wide to super-close-focusing to telephoto.
