This was my first ever FurBQ with the SoCal furs. It's always held at Irvine Regional Park (bit of a challenge to get there) and it was a lot fun, lots of furries/fursuiters and unfortunately a lot of bees (for some reason a lot them were swarming around opened soda cans, but no one got stung). Had a great time there, won a Okami wolf pillow plush which made the event even more fun. It looks like a lot has changed since I was able to go back in 2006.
When I went there was not all that many fursuiters that where there. You have more fingers than there where fursuiters.
I do miss the SoCal foxBBQs.
I am willing to bet that if I did go there would be almost no one there that would have known me. Most of them either left the fandom long ago or have become inactive.
