A couple of months ago I wanted to practice my Open Canvas 'inking', but I didn't really feel inspired to draw anything at that particular moment. I had recently discovered Cameroo's page along with a few other TF artists, so I decided to play with some of their work.
My art, to me, feels kind of stiff. Cameroo's characters have a lot of expression to them which I'd like to emulate so I chose one of his. Plus, when I saw it in his scraps I was kind of digging it, a lot, and was a little impatient to see it more finished.
At the time I thought that they were random characters. After I had gotten this far along I reread the comments and realized that it might be his, and Ness being dragon TFed/merged. So I stopped not wanting to transgress. I ran into Ness at Anthrocon told him about it, he said it'd probably be ok, and to ask Cameroo about it, who said it was all good.
I tried not to wander to far from what it looked like he had in mind, and preserve as much of the energy in the original scrap. It was a fun exercise. Plus I still dig the image.
So under all of my tracing this is copyright Cameroo.
