Ok, I went to Buca De Bepo with about 20 furries, we were just chatting and whatnot, but the most notable thing there was the center piece at the table, tehre was a turntable where one could set the trays of food on, and each time you turned it, the pope would stare at you.
It was kinda creepy.
But we all survived.

I think I was at the nearby Olive Garden, although that would depend on what day that was... no creepy centerpieces there, but I only went because Mother dearest was hungry... (she isn't as tolerant to hunger as I am; I'm a fox raised among wolves, it seems...)

... and setting it on fire would just make that bust less scary? Nah, I think it would make his grin widen, his pupils disappear, and make him leap into your soul!

That is pretty creepy! I'd probably have a hard time eating with him staring at me like that.
Been to Buca once, and was amused by the sheer amount of decorations inside. I remember seeing what struck me as a Vatican Room, but don't remember seeing a Pope statue as the centerpiece.
