Ok so, this is Rex, he's a Fleir (yes another new species xP). They are an aborial species, native to the Southern Sea islands of Tara(one of my planets for you who don't know.. .>.> ). They live on mostly birds, eggs and other small tree dewling speices. The feathers on the head can fan out like a cobra hood and the ones on the back work something like wings and resimble feathered versions of flying lizard wings. [link] Of corse they can only glide not fly. Females have a some what duller color to them as well as smaller head feathers. A Fleirs stripes are unique to the individual.
