No relation to the legendary outlaw of the wild west, Jessie used to be a man under the name of... well, Jesse. At least, until she picked up an old sword at a yard sale. She was able to restore it and saw that it had an inscription in vikig runes. it took time to decipher, but when she read it, a burst of energy came from the sword and hit him square on, transforming him into a valkyrie. While sheathing the sword, or getting it knocked from her hands will restore her to her human form, said human form has been shifted into a female version of herself. Her male form is totally gone forever. Still, on the upside she got enhanced strength, speed, stamina, and superhuman toughness. Plus she doesn't actually have to do the whole 'carry the good warriors off to Valhalla' thing.
