Finished piece for Aquatifur 2017 - I'm the Special Guest of this convention and I just can't wait! It's a brand new furry convention at the Kalahari Resort & Waterpark in Wisconsin and you should definitely check it out. This image will be printed on a huge wall scroll for their super sponsors!
And yes, the waterpark totally does have a swim up bar (which I can't wait to try!)
This is the last weekend to get a discounted con-rate hotel room, so if this convention sounds neat to you you should definitely jump out on that!!
ANYWAYS- I totally worked my butt off on this piece so you should look at it. Without a doubt the most complicated illustration I've made to date.
Since the convention is held at the Kalahari I had to add my character in (also named Kalahari!)

To be honest, I first got into the fandom formally in 2008, so I've only just made 9 years. I was a furry long before that since I'd loved anthropomorphic characters and artwork, but I just didn't consider myself to be a furry due to misconceptions of what it meant to be a furry. It wasn't until my first convention in '08 that I realized I was a furry all along and just didn't know it.
