Everytime i go to the beach once in a while we drive along a really nice and remote section of road with just nature and trees near the dunes, just sticking my head out of the car window and smelling that fresh air really makes me enjoy the world around me, once i get my licence i definitely want to go to the beach more often heh
But yeah with that in mind i tried drawing a similar scene with these two lovebirds, that scooter is bound to go trough more gas than usual with all the extra weight~
Dang this piece took way longer than i expected, painting the background was obviously the biggest challenge, i got a lot of help from references which helped a lot, i definitely wanna experiment with better ways to draw trees though other than using a lot of leaf brushes which is what i did

Ah that looks so nice; makes me want relaxing drive to the apple orchard once the trees start to turn. I live in a pretty well forested valley so it's going nice in a few weeks. Back when I lived in the middle of nowhere there was this winding road through the forest that had tons of sudden dips and tight curves. It was beautiful and so much fun to drive. It's one of the few places where I could get full concentration since it was also a pretty dangerous road.
Soon enough i will have finished the exams for art school and luckily when i start taking more professional lessons i will be able to make masterpieces on digital media, which for me are always easier than traditional, since u know u have to mix that take that some light yada yada yada ur hands when u finish are black (black and white painting) or colorfull

This looks freaking beautiful, dude!~ That entire background is just... Aaah, I'm so awestruck and so jealous. XD
On top of that, this scenario is of course adorable as all get out. I love how you manage to keep both their characterizations in check, Guilmon still being the wide eyes curious guy and Grovyle being a bit more laid back and calm natured~ Just that look he gives says so much~ X3

I really love this piece! Especially the colors! Also, I love the idea of the scooter using up more gas because they’re both so heavy. >u> Kind of makes me want to see a sequel to this where the scooter is either over heated or out of gas from being worked so hard. X3
