I really liked a version of vanilla called "bittersweet". It was a one off made for a local amusement part. It was vanilla with fine shaved bittersweet chocolate. It tasted like vanilla sand paper and I loved it. I was unfortunately a limited run.

There's so many ice creams to choooose from! I have a soft spot for the Strawberry Shortcake ice cream bars, with cakey coating! If I'm at an actual ice cream parlor though, I like... I dunno! The sweetest flavor they have?! >w<

Hewlett needs to start choooosing favorites and attach to them like a leech. I will help! We should probably aim to learn from someone just higher then our current skill level, not someone like  bodbloat or  Meanybeany. That would only be discouraging.

Ooh, Meanybeany would be a fun challenge. If those are your influences, my suggestion is to pick some small detail about their art and learn how to do it, rather than the entire piece.

Nice work (and cute), but in my opinion, I think the anatomy needs work (well, in the pose and perspective).

I was going for a pose where he was turning (like a lumbering beast making a clumsy turn after a charge). Do you have anything specific on pose that needs to be corrected?

Well, he looks turning alright, but as a clumsy turn after a charge, not really. What would help is that you make him slip a little from the front and the back legs in the air a little too, like he was tripping on a rock.

Hahahahaha that's hilarious! I love the idea of that poor rabit trying to maneuver to escape a towering dragon thretening the entire stock of ice cream. Well, I honestly can't blame you: desperate times call for desperate measures!

My favorite ice cream is probably coffee flavor. However I do enjoy pecan, pistaccii and chocolate. Also I have a siginficant weakness for sorbets! Regardless pf the flavor, I always order them in a sugar cone, because those are the beeeest!

Now, when it comes to art, I don't like to compare myself to others and generally I strive to develop what I like to think of as my own style. However, I can't deny I draw inspiration from several artists both kn FA and outside of the fandom. Obviously I can only wish I could draw as well as  Gillpanda,  bangabear,  HectortheWolf,  Sugarboy or  Squeakie... but for now I'm focusing on improving my coloring, shadowing and the time it takes me to finish a pic. Baby steps, you know, baby steps...

Wow, there are some artists there I wasn't ever aware of. The question wasn't necessarily about direct comparison but some artists that you admire and like to work towards. That said those are some good choices. Gillpanda has an amazingly polished and professional style. Also as for improvements, I definitely could go for speeding up art without compromising quality 'cuz I'm a slow artist.

Favorite ice cream and method? Mint chocolate chip! In a simple bowl. I might have a weird taste but I'll never do it a weird way!
As for inspirations? Ummm... Well, I don't want to say I have any on this site, because I feel like the way I'm doing things is a bit unique. But if you made me choose, well, I really wouldn't know.
Probably that Blue guy, GravityInbound, Leinoti, GrineX's older pieces (before he got partnered up with Demont,) and since I've been lurking more I've seen a few other artists I've liked, but at my base level, those guys.

I do like mint chocolate chip as well (usually anything +chocolate works for me). I'll put that on top of the chocolate in the pretzel cone (the mint and pretzel don't mesh as well as straight chocolate, so I need the buffer. I'm probably making ice cream too complicated.

And what a pic! I love it! It was fun watching you develop the shading into what it is. I liked that you fought with the pic until you got the arms and legs just right, which was cool because you're also so flexible about that!

Ahh! Forgot about Moose Tracks. That's my favorite, but I don't get it often because I like alone in my house and everything that comes into the house gets eaten my me, so I can't justify buying an entire tub.

As for the art, thanks! I'd rather get things looking right than be stubborn and not learn and improve from people's advice.
