Backstory:
Young Heinz emigrated to Italy with his mother and younger sister in 1610, after his father's death. He has always been interested in medicine and he decided to study medicine, during outbreak of bubonic plague in 1629 (Italy) he became medical physician and he treated victims of the plague in poor regions of Venice.
In 1630 his mother and sister were infected by the plague. Heinz tried everything to help his family but nothing worked and their condition worsened.

One day Heinz decided to go on a walk to nearest forest and meditate on new methods of treatment. After few hours of of walking he get lost in the old forest. Soon he have found house of "Old Witch" - weird old hermit accused of witchcraft and cults. She proposed to solve his problems at some cost. She warned him about those costs that he have to pay and young doctor agreed. She turned him into immortal bird-like creature that can treat and cause any disease.

He came back home and saved his family but his mother called him "monster" and threw him out of house. Heinz decided to live in the forest and in secret visit his sister. After 10 years his mother died and his sister - Angela decided to live with her brother and she died in 1670 leaving him completely lonely. When some time passed Heinz decided to leave Italy and return to his family town in Bavaria. (Germany)

His actual location is unknown, he has few houses around the world and he loves traveling. He is usually traveling at night to not scare people. Has few friendly sellers who won't scream at him every time he goes shopping. He has big problems with online shopping (doesn't knows how internet is working) Heinz always has his pet rat with him.
