Finally completed these items for a trade I am doing.
A Merovingian era seax and sheath.
A Germanic migration period war belt.
A belt pouch.
Lot of work went into these, but I think it was worth it.

It was a solid month's worth of backbreaking labor.
Almost literally...My back and neck were usually screaming at the end of a work day on these, and the shop was an oven.
I know what "bathing in sweat" literally means...
The worst was the rivet setting on the plates.
I had to bend so far over the anvil to see what I was doing, that I nearly had my nose touching the work.
Really small, really hard to see areas to peen down with my smallest hammer.
I'm quite proud of the end result, but I would think long and hard about doing it again.
