This is the pendant of sherleys Amulett.
It is a magical amulett and it is there to protect her and give her strengh.
Because since her parrents are allways on the move and she is basically alone all the time, her mother gave it to her as a gift. It was for Sherley to have something that reminds her on her mom and dad.
She never knew that it was able to glow since when her mom has allways worn it it never did, so she was kind of happy to have found out something new about that amulett.
The strange thing about the pendant it self is though, that since she wears the Amulett and only if she wears it, her eyes have this special glow in them too. That for sure is the aura of the sapphire inside the pendant but she thinks that it is a coincidence so nothing special or magical at all.
This picture should be a ref for artists to have a closer look at her pendant, as I am kind of strict when it comes to important details like that Becaus the detail is a little too small on her original ref sheet to be noticed fully. So there we have it up close:
