This was my first crochet project I did in graduate school. I had always wanted to crochet dolls, bu could never get the magic circle quite right. I had just joined the pony fandom at the time and decided that my first project would be a pony. She is brown and black to reflect myself (and because those were the colors I had at the time). Her cutie mark is a seedling on land, followed by a fish in water to signify her love of nature. I just made her an alicorn because I wanted to practice making a horn and wings (the pattern did not include open wings.)
