Here we are, the profile for the character Alkahest. Anti-Star weapon working under a NATO task force. To find out more about the reasons as to why she was created I would suggest reading through the stories written by my good friend Wil Goldwing which you can find here. Aspects of her profile are intentionally missing, I hope to establish her personality as time goes on as well as explore further aspects of her history.

Weapons:
-Circuit Blades
Much like her suit these blades will allow her to channel her energy through them, essentially acting as pseudo energy swords and tearing through normal foes.
-Firearms:
Alkahest was provided with some firearms training, if need be she can utilize them in combat.
Powers:
When Alkahest utilizes her abilities, much like the super she was enhanced to destroy her body changes. Her hair is immediately stripped of the majority of it’s natural pigments, taking on a bright white color while her body blackens and spots turn a dark bloody red. Even her eyes are not spared, turning green. Further changes can be seen when she moves at high speeds or heavy impacts such as punches / landings take place. Black/red lightning can be seen coming off of her form.
-Flight.
Alkahest is capable of flying at extreme speeds and high altitudes. Assistance from her combat armour allows her to travel in low oxygen environments for extended periods of time. Max altitude is unknown but she has been clocked at speeds over Mach 2.
-Strength / Durability / Speed.
Due to the nature of the project that led to her creation Alkahest is a powerful combatant. Her lifting weight in her base powered mode comes at a supposed 70 Metric tons, and she is capable of superspeed and has quite the durability, enabling her to sustain incoming weapons fire while powered up. However heavy weaponry such as rockets, missiles, railguns.etc will deal serious damage she will not be able to prevent.
-Obliteration - Radiation Wave.
Her most devastating and draining attack. The Jaguar holds out her palm in the direction of the enemy, releasing a massive cone of energy. It appears as a red and white cone visible to the naked eye, almost like fire. The attack quickly cooks away at organic objects in it’s path, boiling away water and effectively acting like a microwave. Living subjects will either cook, or those inside metal containers will ‘burst’.Once the wave has completed, Alkahest will be left drained of the majority of abilities, forcing her to either retreat or resort to regular combat measures. Continued use of this ability without rest will result in her either depowering or collapsing, rendering her completely vulnerable.
Healing
Alkahest possess a healing factor. The process can be quick for lighter injuries, minor cuts and scrapes, while it will take longer for heavier injuries or major damage. Said healing factor also prevents her from getting sick properly, she may exhibit symptoms and then the energy within her promptly obliterates the foreign virus / bacteria. The process can of course be sped up by allowing her to regain her strength if she is weakened.

Normal Senses:
Despite the enhancements that she was given, Alkahest does not have enhanced senses of sight, smell, taste, touch.etc Instead she must rely on technological support for increased senses or the aide of allies.
Rage:
Despite the restraint that she shows, Alkahest has a deep seeded hatred for The Star. If she was ever let off the leash against him it would be likely that she would go all out with no concern for her training or collateral damage, which could prove very problematic for her in battle.
Cosmic Energy:
While not a true weakness, her destructive powers have an odd interaction with pure concentrations of cosmic energy. Despite being enhanced to be an anti-Star weapon, her powers are not fully effective against it and vice-versa. Infact when both energies are at their highest concentrations they appear to mix for explosive results.

Death of a Family
Roaring thunder and cracking wood is what the young Maria woke up to. As if a sonic boom had occurred in her little home village. The windows of her house were shattered, walls were cracked, screams of pain were calling out into the night. Her mother was quick to run up and save her but just as they were moving down the stairs to meet her father the ceiling collapsed. The young jaguar found herself pinned under her suddenly dead mother, who had been impaled in the back by a scattered beam.
A weak light and faint warmth filled the area, she opened her eyes, soaked in water and blood, hoping to see her father but through the openings in the rubble she witnessed more. A glowing white wolf stood over the wreckage and snapped her father’s neck. This would be an image seared into her mind, and even then, the sounds of destruction and cries for mercy that followed fell upon deaf ears as she stared into the eyes of her father’s corpse from underneath the ruins of her home and her bleeding mother’s corpse.
Passage through Asia
Days after the destruction of her hometown in Romania, safety came in the form of a smuggler. An old raccoon by the name of Malcolm, who had come to the town in order to pick something up for a delivery to Asia. Finding it in ruins, he scavenged through the wreckage, eventually, upon hearing her crying and weak calls for help, discovered Maria.
With no immediate family to take her to Malcolm was forced to take the young Jaguar through Asia. The two eventually passing into China where several stops were made along the way in order to resupply and deliver some of the items that had been requested of him. Stopping in various small towns along the way and eventually smuggling the young girl into the United States to live with relatives of his. She would spend the following years of her under a new name, eventually joining the United States military…
Anti-Star & Anti-Ranger Program:
Following the battle of the Colmaton BOS in which the Bureau’s public structure was attacked by the unregistered superhero known as the Star, various private contractors were contacted in order to develop a defensive weapon. CTI, having already begun introducing the Apex program to NATO nations with their fourth model was one of the leading companies on the list. After a brief series of discussions the company’s R&D Division 3 began development on Project Alkahest, with the intent on developing not only an anti-star weapon but an anti-Ranger weapon as well.
Following BOS’ capture of The Star, CTI personnel under the guide of government agents took part in the clean up of the immediate area surrounding the damaged Bureau structure, they also took part in a small “interview” with the Star although the subject was unresponsive. During this time, a blood sample was taken from the Bureau before it could be moved to a secure location, later transferred to the R&D 3 core facility.
R&D 3 Cosmic Energy Fuel Test
NATO & CTI reviewed various candidates for Project Alkahest. The project had three goals. First, attempt to replicate cosmic energy as a fuel source. Second, weaponize cosmic energy in a format that can be implemented in weaponry. Third, create a super capable of opposing The Star. It was with this third goal that the project would really take shape, creating a super furson that did not belong to any one nation, did not submit to a single government and instead took directives from a multinational body without being tied to the UN’s Bureau of Superheroes… Alkahest would be a proper superweapon immune to many of the the rules set forth by the Superhero Relations Accords set up in 2000 by the United Nations.
Out of their many candidates, was one major survivor. A young Romanian woman, Maria. While others experienced deteriorating conditions in regards to her physical health, the jaguar quickly and painfully adapted to the enhancements made to her, improving her physical health and leading to an increase in capabilities.
NATO had finally found the weapon that they would use… and so the next several months were spent training her as much as possible.
Operation Dragon Slayer
Immediately following a high level cosmic energy reading, Alkahest was deployed to the western United States. Assigned to the region for operations less than twenty four hours after the detection of what was nearly mistaken for two massive detonations the previous evening, but turned out to be cosmic energy readings.
Alkahest was formally and publicly announced to the public at a press conference regarding activities related to the Star the following morning. As a new Guardian for the western states while in service. The nature as to her original directives in combating The Star and Ranger if required were only provided to top Bureau agents and kept from the public.
- - Two days after her deployment, Alkahest was briefly deployed to the Gobi Desert in China with a small force. Once there she violently destroyed a cosmic energy research lab the Chinese had constructed after the Battle of The Bureau and killed all of the staff. Intel suggestions that the lab was unable to replicate cosmic energy as a fuel source and instead had begun to conduct tests on cosmic artillery shells instead. The Chinese government opted to not retaliate for this action, instead keeping silent and thus preventing anyone else from ever knowing about the labs existence.

Oh CRAP, in the future, if Star ever returns. This will be BAD. I do know for a FACT that in future, she will have her chance at Ranger. The world will be looking for an opportunity to destroy BOTH.
