The best you did of all the gifs, in my opinion (though that slug girl was cute as hell)
The animations kinda suffer from being too static, though - adding some movement to the background or eliminating/animating elements that are expected to be in movement (like those two static sharks on Umbraculum Nereid piece) would greatly help. Not like I'm in position to give critique or something, and you're a bit overqualified for my advices, so yeah, hope it was helpful instead of unreasonably patronizing .з.

When I get some free time, I'll write you a couple of advices on software and techniques you could use - there's some potential for cutting corners here and there (in a good way), and as a result, saving up a good amount of time that could be used on something more dynamic without sacrificing the quality. What programms do you use for your animations though?
