Name: Tekko
Personality: Open minded, creative and friendly, but not very sociable. He prefers spending time alone with his small animal friends.
Interests: Collecting bugs, small reptiles and amphibians; sculpting in the wood; exploring new unknown areas (woods, caves, mountains)

Backstory:
Tekko was created by unknown NebNom-scientists during their new experiment. They've been illegally working on mixing DNA of NebNoms and other creatures found on alien planets. For this particular experiment, scientists decided to choose a few species of reptiles (mainly lizards) and one of the most common NebNom-prisoners they have on their space ship-like laboratory. Their goal was to create new, more uncommon traits on plain and humdrum existing body. They took one of the victims and started their "researches." Body of the victim was completely flaccid, thanks to toxic specifics which caused deep unconsciousness.
"TEST ONE, PROJECT GECKO" said one of the scientists with his grumbly voice.
Machines started working on mixing new and old DNA in the body of unaware NebNom. And after a while, by dint of machines, the scientists were observing how the test's body starts changing it's shape. They decided to end the experiment when the victim stopped twitching. Before putting the "test" in an isolation ward, they've put into it's neck a location chip and gave it some overalls with a badge on it "T1-Gecko."

One day later scientists started looking for the planet, on which they can leave their experiment and observe how it copes in the wilderness. After a few hours of researching, they finally found one called Fentera, with very unique and rich fauna and flora, perfect home for their new NebNom-lizard hybrid. They landed on Fentera in the middle of the night and left their test (which was asleep all the time) on a huge empty meadow. It was great spot to observe how their creation will react to new atmosphere, air conditions and of course the whole biosphere living on Fentera.

When the test has woken up, it was so scared of the overwhelming space, that it instinctively fled into the jungle and quickly found a temporary hideout. After a few days, exhausted NebNom was found by one of the local village's Chef. The portly, scary-looking NebNom took the small, afraid of everything creature to his village. There was something that made this little critter feel safe when he was near him. When they were walking, the stranger tried to start a conversation:
"What's your name?" he asked. "I've never seen you before on Fentera. When me and some Nomads from village that huge spaceship, we decided to examine what's going on. And then we've found you, laying under that old tree trunk."
Small guy was too shy and too much confused to answer the question.
"Let's see.." He noticed that the little guy has a badge on his clothing.
"T...g.e.cko... Hm.. Let's name you Tekko. Our tribe don't use any type of writting, so barely who knows letters and symbols. One day I had a chance to learn something from Nomads of The Sky. Thanks to them I can read.. And give you a name. Hahaha." He poked his arm, giggled and bring him to the village inside a huge cave.
The small guy had hope, that he'll find a new home.
