My first tail commission. This was a very though tail to complete as Champagne has a series of bangles down his tail. The bangles themselves were the hardest part to even think about incorporating into the tail. At first I thought of hard materials like resin but then I would of had to custom cast them. Not only would this drive up the price for the buyer they may break at a moments notice at a con as it is a floor dragging tail. My next thought was the use of some kind of fabric to stitch into the tails structure to avoid breakage. After a lot of looking around I found that the best option was a gold coloured latex. The construction after that was relatively simple just stitching the latex onto the fur then shape it like any other tail.
